About Lady G
WHO is Lady G might you ask? Lady G is on her way to the top because the bottom is too crowded. I am an intellectual woman that knows the significance of living life to the fullest. I have kicked down a door or two and am up for any challenge that is set before me. I am the gale force wind and the calm before the storm. I am a natural force to be reckoned with. On the continuum of Lady G, I am easy going, kind hearted and my belief in family values and my faith has gotten me where I am thus far.
Lady G is a best friend to my husband, daughter to the best mother in the world. A mother and aunt to three divas who each have their own swagger. I am a comedian with a infectious laugh, kindhearted and caring. I aspire to live my life as my 93 year old grandmother Zephyr lived hers. It is because of her, I’m the woman that I am today. It will be an honor and privilege to live my life as she lived. Rest in sweet loving peace my dearest grandmother
I was employed for the Kansas City Missouri School District, while furthering my education in Business Management. Many years into my field, I sustained an injury while attending school. The injury sidelined me from any active work and prohibited me from completing my studies. My mobility was very limited for sometime. During my recovery period, my desire to venture back into writing, fell upon me. This is where the idea for my first book: “Effective Immediately" was born.
I originally started writing poetry and short stories in 2000 and had several of my works posted on such websites as Rundu and Timbooktu. Writing for me is therapy. There is no doubt about it. I believe we all have a story to tell.
What inspires me to write? The thought of channeling my ideas (plots) and turning them into a colorful literary scene. Writing, whether it is fiction or non-fiction is an outlet for me. This outlet allows me to release and escape to places known or unknown.
My first book "Effective Immediately" is already picking up high hopes and my readers are responding!!!!!!! This exciting and drama filled novel that is available on line through all major book retailers. At this time, I'm busy working on my marketing plan, as well as a book signing tour. This Diva is ready to get her walk, hussle, and straight sell on!
